Since we have a promising new update 3.5 (which isn't quite ready) and tons of new features there is a possibility they are working on a 2.0 version of this machine since production has been halted.

I have suffered through using this buggy incomplete OS since the beginning and now that it has all these new features I would love a 2.0 machine.

Other than performance upgrades like faster cpu & more ram ...thus more than 8 tracks of each type, what are some things people have had problems with?

1. The surface degrades and it looks bad

2. I have had 2 units now where the volume knob gets scratchy and even cuts the master audio out at times and you have to move the knob to get the full audio back. This cost me over 2 hundred $ to get fixed and it still wasn't perfect when it came back. Has anyone had this problem and know more about it, since I have 2 machines that do this.

It would be great to have a better build with none of these problems and have more power under the hood.

I use an external USB audio interface, so I'm immune to anything happening with the Force's volume knob.

A tilting screen could be nice, and the device could be kind of smaller, but I don't know how it could be smaller really. Other than that, all my wishes are about the software.
