MPC One sending wrong PC after sending the correct one?

Hello - I'm on an MPC One running 2.11. I have my MPC controlling my subsequent 37 and I want it to send a program change on load: PC 20 LSB 1, which corresponds to Bank 10 Preset 5. I have a MIDI program configured to the correct channel and this PC/LSB configured in the sub 37's program.

However, when I load the project I can see the sub 37 change to the correct PC but then quickly changes to PC 1 LSB 1. Then, when I hit play it changes back to the correct PC 20 LSB 1. What might be causing this? It's annoying because if I want to make sounds with this preset before I start the song I have to manually change the program.

I have other songs where I am using sub 37 presets on the same bank and it works fine. I've compared projects that work to ones that don't work and I can't see a difference. Maybe someone here can point me in a direction?

When a project loads, the MPC sends program changes for every sequence that has them. If you have multiple sequences, make sure only one has program/bank settings.

Thank you for the responses! It's weird that it sends all the program changes for all tracks at once, is that what you're saying? It seems like there are 2 places to send program changes, one is within the program for that track on the main page and second you can create an automation lane for PCs. Does the MPC send all PCs upon load for both types?

I looked in list edit and for tracks where I have an automation lane for PCs, I can see the messages. But I do not see a message in list edit that corresponds to a PC when I only define it on the tracks program on in the main view.

Not tracks - sequences. Ony the PC listed on the Main page is sent on load. When you press Play, that is sent again, along with any intial automation PC.
