Other companys / products have dedicated feedback forums, where people can see the most requested features, vote them up or create new requests.
Does Akai have something like that?

I see here is a 40 page thread with requests etc. but it is of course pure chaos, and if Akai takes a look at it is questionable as well..

If they look here they won't tell us. You can send them request/feedback here:

I think they do kinda look at our requests. Bcz I requested "The Ability To Move Tracks/FX Slots". Took em awhile but they Blessed me with that in MPC3.
I'm Forever Grateful With Gratuitous Gratitude

They had a 'support' forum they rented from a third party back in like 2019 but once people started complaining about the unit, they closed it and decided to just do whatever they want to do without listening to users anymore.

The official Akai support forum was on a hosted service ('get satisfaction) which changed ownership, with the new owners implementing a new, significantly higher pricing model which led to many businesses leaving (plus the historical forum content was locked into the service). So while Akai had the option to either pay the extra $$$ or set up a new forum elsewhere, I assume they decided it isn't worth the hassle and moved to a different support model (tickets, social media and now AI chat bot).

I don't have an issue with any support model that is implemented well, but this should involve responding to tickets in a timely manner (<24 hours IMO), providing knowledgable support staff, and hopefully trying to avoid creating so many issues requiring support in the first place.

But so far, in general, not impressed with 'ai chat support' from any of the companies I've had the displeasure to encounter it with. Back in the day if there was a problem with an Amazon order you could crack open the live chat and it would be sorted within a few minutes. Now it's almost impossible to get through to a human, we've been trying to get a refund on a marketplace order for over 6 months now, item was returned and signed for but the seller just never gave us the money back. Simply no option to talk to anyone at Amazon about this, just circular AI bots and 'help' articles.

Just because they closed it doesn’t mean they stopped listening to users. Even if was still open they wouldn't had granted all of our wishes like a magical genie. Complaining is to be expected so if anything they should've had both a request & complaint thread.

How they determine what they're gonna add is a mystery but it ain't hard to tell that they the mysterious red ninja got spies online.

Man, that's insane. It angers me just thinking about it
