did stem separation in standalone just stop working ?

I use stem separation all the time, tried today, and it goes through the process, and doesn't actually separate the stems at the end. It does nothing. I have used this feature alot, and there is nothing unusual about the file im trying to separate. anyone else have issues?

On a side note, this activation process for akai paid plugins is terrible. oftentimes i have to manually activate my plugins

So I contacted akai support and they want me to: flash the hard drive with some files they sent and backup my data in advance.

Wanted to get your thoughts on this? Can I brick my device? Anyone done this before? Is it relatively easy or does it take tech skills?

I would reset all my Preferences before Flashing my Drive

What do you mean by resetting my preferences?

Menu Screen, Bottom Right Select Preferences, then select Reset Preferences. I perform that move after Every Update. It will reset everything back to default, while restarting your MPC. That usually solves75% of Potential Problems

I would follow the instructions they sent you to a "T" and don't deviate or take any shortcuts. Report back if it fixes your issue.

Did the flashing of your hard drive work? I started having the same issue with stems in standalone. The problem is I've installed an additional 1 TB hard drive in my mpc live 2. I wouldn't want to erase everything on that internal drive I installed by mistake.
