play does not start immediately

When I press the play button to start the track, it doesn't start immediately but about a second later. Why? Thank you

Is this in Session/Matrix or Arrange mode?

If in Session/Matrix mode you deal with launch quantizing.......

Otherwise I would not know what is wrong.

in all ways, matrix, arrange... when i press play sometimes it takes 0.5 sec sometimes 1 sec

I solved it!!! I have 2 akai force and I connected/synchronized them via ethernet, it creates this "lag" in fact I turned off one and the problem solved... but the weirdness remains!

Not weird, they need time to lock in.......

Back in the days most devices used one or two bars to lock in.

I try to put a faster cable maybe it changes something....

MIDI and synch signals do not require "fast" cables or connections......

But maybe your network is busy by other devices. Or are they the only ones out on that network?

On the Ethernet network I only have the pc and the two AFs, but on the same router is connected the rest of the wifi network...

That will be a constant traffic with handshaking and stuff…..

I don't think there can be such problems because the 2 AFs are directly connected to each other....
