most usuless piece of hardware i have ever bought

I have never seen such a buggy device in my life.
standalone: clumsy, to many menu´s, horror
as a ableton controller; buggy, tuns off mid-set, too heavy (not that portable)

anything else i missed?

tried for 3 years to make it functional.
Disaster.

I bought it specifically for programming hihats in 1/32 triplets with note repeat.

Reason being is that I cannot physically press the pads at that speed at the usual bpm I program, which is at 260 bpm.

I invented a new genre of trap which basically has my hihat style as a staple. So no one jack my new invention.

No, I went to Home Depot and got an industrial fan to blow directly on it to keep it cool, it stopped glitching out after.

The problem is that each one of my hi hats is recorded at at 24 bit and 192khz, but to add insult to injury, i usually stack at least 200-300 hats together so that i encapsulate the entire dynamic range of my productions.

Basically, if you look at a .wav of my 2 tracks, they have no dynamics. Then I load them into my SSL console and run my favorite hall verb preset from my Lexicon PCM 70 to make up for the lack of dynamic range. I am giving up the sauce here so you should all pay attention.

I'm taking notes, but I'm banned from Home Depot, so got the strongest ceiling fan from Targets.

Look you gotta tell me what industrial fan cuz this is way to broad.

I do not need such fans as my music room has an A/C.....

I have a fairly small room for my music stuff, and without the A/C it gets like more than 30 degrees Celsius in the summer. This A/C does it's job well, even the Nocturnfan from my PC does not increase in speed more than stationary. Only when I record vocals or acoustic guitar, both not very often, the A/C is switched off for a valid reason.

Even when it is not very warm outside, all my devices fired up, cause a lot of warmth.

Oh, yes - I surely do, although I do like the hot smell of my new Soundcraft UI24R too :mrgreen:
