MPC deleting samples after chopping

I have a mpc live II, running on the latest 3.5 firmware.
All great, but now when I chop a sample and export it as a new program with the new chopped samples, the mpc always decides to delete a random sample from a previous program and replace it with the full sample that I just chopped up.

I really don't know what's happening here and I can't find the old sample, to put it back in the right place.

Its not deleted. The Sample Edit Mode just goes to a page with NO Sample after you Chop and Create another "Chopped Program". If you scroll you'll see your original sample

I'd usually make a copy first before a chop, just a fail-safe.

You have to load sample to pool

I save after sampling anything.

FWIW, my Live 2 did this too, but my X and Key 37 did/do not. Curious. One would think they would be the same but I guess not. Good luck Boss.
