Either the X or the X SE, right?


Other than standard memory & HD size, it's the same mach8ne right? If I were to buy an X, it would be able to run the most recent software, with audio tracks,right?

It will run it, yes. If you're using the software/controller mode, I don't see any benefit to the SE besides how sexy it is.

Also.... MPC X SE comes standard with 6 studio-quality plugins: OPx-4, Fabric Collection, Organ, Stage Piano, Stage EP, and Studio Strings.
