MPC 3: How to edit/decompile binary .xpj file?

Hey all! It seems in MPC3 they changed the way how they treat .xpj files. Now this is binary file, and it feels like this file contains all the configs/params/secquences for the whole project.
And my MPC live crashed yesterdays when It tried to save the project. And now I've got corrapted project. And no idea how to restore it. I think if I can read this .xpj file I can fix it (probably). At least, I need to try.
And the question is: Do you guys know how to decompile .xpj binary to XML or whatever it was before?

just need to replace .xpj by .gz, open with unarchive tool you like, and have fun.

In my case it seems that this JSON was not finished due to OS crash on the MPC.. This is why it can't decompress it back.. Fun.
