Here's what I have:
- Live 2 with beta 3.5
- Studio one 7
- Midi controller with usb
- Focusrite Interface with midi in/out
- Omnisphere, Kontakt, Nexus
What I am trying to do is make a complete track with the mpc (like control all of the VSTS, etc), and then dump the midi into studio one. Example:
Omnishphere on midi ch 1, Nexus midi ch 2, then I do the drums on the mpc, and dump it into studio. Back in the day when I had a older mpc, I had a midi template and would do this using midi. Only thing is I would have to add a blank bar to my sequence so the midi would catch up to the daw. But wondering if theres a better way, etc to do this on the mpc live 2?
The problem I am having is there is a mpc plugin for daws, but I'm not really sure how it works, or even that is my solution.
Anyone have any suggestions how to do this.
