I've still got the original ReCycle and ReBirth 2.0.2 discs in my collection. Have them both running in a virtual Windows XP machine via VirtualBox on my 13 year old Late 2012 model Mac Mini running 10.15.7. I boot it up every now and then just to make sure it still works and for shits 'n' giggles.

I still think the full screen and great transient detection makes Recycle useful for getting good loops out of found audio. Still quicker than most other transient detecting methods and tiny interfaces.

didnt they get rid of support for scsi dump to the sampler (like the s1000) from version 2 to version 2,5?

either way, kind of cool because even though recycle is old, it is quite interesting and nobody can ever say it didn't work well as long as they were loading short songs under 4 minutes or so long into it.

Whaaa.. WOW! Thats (cautiously) solid news. Thanks mpc-tutor!

Who has used it, anyone?

I contacted them 5 yrs ago - said ive got my orignal license, all that , got a newer computer. Cant remember but they brushed it off. Altho maybe it was just apple's switch from 32 > 64-bit. And plenty of other s'ware + users were in that boat. Good on ya propellerheads. . Out of the blue satisfying knews.
