MPC Key 37 (Desktop 3.5 Beta) Playing Multiple Notes At Once

I'm fairly new to MPC - I'm trying out the new desktop software - and it seems while I play a key on the keyboard - two pads light up - and also on the plugin it will show I am hitting two keys (each an octive apart). I will Hit C2 and that and C1 will play at the same time. Anyone know what that might be caused by? Thanks

Are you sure they are both actually playing? In 'notes' mode, pad perform shows the related octave notes for any note you play, but it will only play more than one note if you are in 'chords' mode.

I wanna say that's normal on the Hardware. When I'm in a Pad Performance, The Note in Two Octaves light up when I Press one Pad. Its not necessarily triggering two notes tho.. Just lighting up
