Hello,

Recently got an mpc one, was working fine with my external interface (steinberg ur22 mkii) until I updated to mpc 3. Now I get glitches every 10 seconds and it's basically unusable. This is particularly annoying as the headphone jack on the mpc is broken and I need to use headphone 90% of the time.

Anyone else had this issue? Any recommendations for small interfaces that work with mpc 3?

Side note: the headphone jack issue is due to a pad on pcb being lifted. Any advice on how to repair this or where I could buy a replacement daughter board?

Thanks

Try Resetting your Preferences, restart your MPC and see if that Remedies the Audio Problem

Because the software is buggy and it’s recommended to reset preferences after updating. It has nothing to do with the actual options in preferences

Next Move is to try a Different Interface to Rule Out the Steinberg being the Culprit.

The Headphone Jack Problem is Common with The MPC ONEs. I opened mine up and Resoldered the Jack Connections. Been workin fine since. Just have to be Gentle with the Headphone Cord lol

Interface was fine before the update and works on my laptop. I think something about the update seems to have broken the compatibility of this interface, unfortunately i don't have another interface at hand to try.

And yeah, I've actually just modded my mpc with a 1/4" headphone jack which is when I noticed the pad for the left channel has lifted from the pcb. This isn't just a quick solder job, the pcb itself is damaged. I know this is a common problem, was hoping someone might have an idea as to how to fix it
