Hi everyone.

I just bought a MPC Key 37 some days ago. Makes fun, but one thing I don't get:

How can I set the velocity of notes to the same level? It would make sense to me to select all notes and then enter a number such as 60. However, this does not seem to work anywhere. Do I really have to adjust each note individually? That would be extremely time-consuming. I tried selecting all of them and turning the wheel down to 0, but when I turn it up again, they are still uneven in relation to each other.

Bonus question: When I adjust a control on an instrument/synthesizer, is there a way to reset it individually to its original value? Instead of reloading the entire preset.

Thanks in advance for help!

Best;

If you're on MPC 3 you can just hold down the FULL LEVEL, then you can adjust the Level you want to record.

If you already recorded the notes.....I would highlight all the notes in GRID View, then roll all Velocities to max and then roll them down to your desired level.

That'd be my workaround....Or redo the track...lol

Yeah, you need to “select all” in grid mode (hold shift) and then use your finger on the velocity dots to push them upward to max, downward to min and then to where you want.

In the future, you can use fixed velocity when inputting notes.
