Aside from the additional RAM, do you really think Akai would release an alleged successor to the Live 2… with worse specs than the existing Key 61?

That's why I got the Force instead of the X back in 2021. The 64 pads & the clip-matrix & after they upgrade the OS to like 3.0.5 or whatever it was.
I like that inMusic Akai are more quick to adapt & change shit up. I think the old Akai people would've mostly likely got stuck in the past & failed or would be as popular.
Before people try to fight me, remember the OG Akai was the same company that didn't want to even make the 2k. Luckily ex-EMU engineer convinced them to go for it. But if they would've kept him as an consultant maybe they could stayed successful & we wouldn't have that damn MIDI note off bug.
