Counterpoint: the Key 61 is based on the exact same SoC processor as the original Live and Force, which itself is over a decade old (the SoC, not the Force and OG Live). I didn't say the Live III will have worse spec than the Key 61. I only said I don't expect it to be better.
It could have more RAM, but I expect it to be 4GB. What they really need to increase is the internal stoare if I read the [url =https://www.mpc-tutor.com/mpc-buyers-guide-mpc-one-vs-mpc-live-ii-vs-mpc-x/]chart[/url].
Perhaps they add 4 more CV outs to match the Key 61.
Did the Live II users ever ask for a level meter? I imaging that one might come in handy in a live situation.
Anyways, if the business decisions of Akai are as weird for hardware as for software I don't expect anything but suprises.
