MPC Live 3 being listed for sell!

Fingers crossed for more audio tracks with the new Soc upgrade.

I can retire 2 of my multitrack recorders if this happens.

because the buttons can do different things now, makes me think of the linnstrument and how it has the ability to capture different data points/pressure...

Sequencing drum programs in a screen that is not the piano roll ? I would welcome a drum-specific sequencer screen, even something as simple as the one in Roland Zenbeats: just having the sample name persisting on the left of each lane is significantly more helpful than piano notes.

what i'm saying is that rock5 is to Live III what rock2 was to og Live when it came out, already - outdated chip from the get go

there is a separate "stepper" running but it's for CV only afaik

if i am not wrong, there is nothing newer than the rockchip 3588 right now. there will be a successor named 3688, but its not available yet, so i wouldnt call it outdated. anyway, the new processor will clearly open a lot of doors for them.

live came out 3 years after rock2 and there was nothing newer back then neither, LIII coming out 4 years after rock5

YOOOOO!! they listened to my demands rofl! The hardware dudes over at inMusic are good shit! Now if i can just convince them to bring "clips" to the front of the workflow like it is with the force. This is a good step forward. They should try to implement the work flow similar to our force on MPC concept though, though it wasnt perfect it was very close to being perfect. I still prefer that over the public beta.

oh nice, i wonder if they enabled plugin clips, midi clips and recording to audio clips and ultimately if you can record the clips to arrangement.

the force work flow is genius, its very fast and sounds as good as mpc. record a buncha clips fill out the matrix. then press shift record and format the song into the arranger. so fast so clean.

Now, the real fun: how Akai has shoehorned the highly probable Clip Matrix screen into the MPC One/Live2/etc. physical UI ? 4x4 pads x4 banks ? That would be ugly...

I'll be a happy camper anyway: clip matrix jamming is dimensionally superior to track mute jamming !

No, you need to reduce the matrix size to 4*4... lol that is all literally detect device, go "ah mpc great, well set the happy little matrix array to 4*4 by default."
