i wonder if roger linn had anything to do with the pads... given the obvious paid endorsement video with live 2 and the linnstrument side by side.... mightve cut a deal but didnt want his name attached this time around, or better yet Inmusic didnt feel the need to pay for both the tech AND his name.

I was waiting to get home to write exactly that - except not APC64, but APC Mini Mk2 because I'm militantly cheap.

C'mon Akai, make some money - add an equipment MIDI mapping template library to make your own peripheral devices plug & play, and sell those extremely simple to produce APC Mini at ludicrous margins... We'll buy them and even thank you !
