That usb multitrack midi audio function is the best feature by far. Is there any need for the mpc desktop software anymore?

Also, RIP force. You had a good run

Yeah all those new functions unlocked by USB-C are a serious level up (DAW integration, MIDI, phone hook up, multi channels, etc).

The step buttons and all the multiple features they open up are also SICK!
This doesn't feel like a small incremental update, this is a major update.

It seems with the new processer chips and added ram this Mpc live 3 has great potential and added benefits like others said being able to stream audio, midi and data over usb c plus it has clip launch matrix like ableton. The software seems beyond what we have seen in Mpc 3.0 so far. I wondering if some of these features make it to the mk1 and mk2 hardware and even he desktop software. Regardless this is a more hands on hardware update with a more manual control via hands on controls than just the touchscreen. Bravo Akai I can’t wait to seen Andy Mac making beats showing the ease of workflow and techniques on the new MPC.

They gave me a reason to buy MPC Live 3. The price of TR-1000 at Thomann.de is 2700EUR. In Japan, the price is around 1900 EUR. I will go to Japan and buy TR-1000, back to Europe and buy MPC Live 3. Perfect plan of the winter holiday

re: clip matrix... i wonder why they put the hands on launch on the step seq buttons instead of pads... its cool launchin them from the screen, but the buttons obviously don't line up with an x\y matrix... doesn't make much sense... anyway the clip based workflow its surely interesting

It's chunky and loud – I like how weighty it is.
Love my chunky boy :)
I hope you guys will dig it!
The speaker is dope; have been working on stuff only using the speaker, which has to be the best speaker on a hardware beatmaking unit I've heard.
