The Pro Pack looks interesting but I'm definitely planning on holding off. At least until the inevitable Black Friday sale.

1. I'm only interested in seeing how the "Super Warp" may work.
2. The plugins look kinda cool. But Fabric Select seems like more of the same, or are they "New" sounds?

I can't speak for everybody but for me, it's most definitely needed, and I don't understand why they can't give us a new modern controller. I get why some people use standalone but for me, who is always tied to the computer, spending $1700 on a standalone device is a waste of money, since I will never use it that way. I wish Akai just give us a Touch 2, Ren 2, or a Studio MK3 that is designed like the MPC One. That's said, my Touch is still working without a hiccup and I wish they actually do something with the desktop software so I can go ahead and pay for it..lol

This a big update for the simple feature of being able to route 24 channels of audio to your daw that's huge for myself.. I use Cubase 14 pro and that's where I bake..

When does the MPC live 4 come out? I heard it was going to be a MacBook Air with pads, sliders, encoders, and buttons instead of a keyboard and trackpad.

I kinda feel like it may be over for the Force and MPC Software lol. Or at least the Beginning of The End

Wait, loop points are now destinations in the mod matrix?

The live 3 actually looks pretty great!

It's a shame time signatures are for all sequences- I'm sure lots of producers like to chain a bunch of sequences in different time signatures or just have the ability to stick a bar or 3/4 in once in a while.

Is there a way around this?

Why do they keep giving the Force updates?

Force 3.6 OS:

Force 3.6 manual:

Force 3.6 Release Notes:

I think the Force still too many other advantages that they should make a mk2. This isn't the last model of this new gen Akai is gonna make, just the first one out. The new X could the MPC64 with a crossfader & touchstrip.

It was originally advertised as 'Flexible Time Signatures'. Clearly there is nothing particularly flexible about having the same time sig for the whole project, so hopefully there is more to come on this. But it's at least better than being completely stuck with just 4/4.

Can't wait to try that out, I've been wanting an Akai to do that for decades!

So with this Pro Pack , you'll be getting the clips and the couple of new plugins and thats it , or im missing something ... still no VST to use the MPC software in the Daw , i was hoping for that.
The Live 3 is looking really good .. but the price is what holding me off at this moment. But the price is more then fair and seems worth it !

This what it means, right? The way it's worded there is a bit ambiguous/confusing
