AKAI nailed the strategy to get those $50 to $100 out of our pockets once in a while. Basically a subscription at this point.

So it looks like the pro-pack will work with mpc live(OG)? I wonder if the super warp algo will also work as well? Interesteing in that ableton import option to mpc with clip launcher, hope that works as advertised.

Says if you buy live 3, get the pro pack pre-activated on the live 3, AND can activate on 3 other devices - so I'm viewing that as effectively 100 quid off the live 3 ! (if you have other MPCs... which I do...)

Yeah that's not "flexible time signatures". More like inflexible.

So far MPC3 has broken all things that I like about using hardware. I came to the MPC for a standalone workstation, a pattern based sequencer, a drum machine, and as a VSTi in a DAW. It's replaced pattern based sequencing with an arrangement page, gotten rid of multiple time signatures, and the VSTi3 version is still missing.

I might just give up hope soon. I mostly did with Push 3 standalone which also started off with no time signatures, but a few things kept it around while I waited. It works fine as a controller for Live on the computer which can do all sorts of time signatures, so it wasn't breaking all the things I liked about the hardware. Push 3 is now capable of multiple time signatures, and uses pattern based sequences to make a song in standalone like the MPC does.

The clip-matrix has been on the Force since 2019.

Pad A1 can be any note. If I go to the step sequence on the top left it shows C2 actually it shows the last note i triggered in main mode. Highlight pad select, selecting other notes, and placing them. i don't seem to find a bug here

The pronlem is that it Triggers a different note in the step sequencer than on the main screen when pressing the same pad
