midi via usb question for mpc live 3

i'd like to know something that i'm not aware of.
for those happy mpc live 3 possessors, is it possible to track out your midi sequence via the new usb-c class compliant ?
if i compose on mpc but want a finer control can i send my midi tracks to a daw then edit my notes ?

So you can send/receive midi pretty seamlessly over usb-c with your DAW, but you probably want to work with midi on the MPC *or* in your DAW. You can certainly record the notes into your DAW and then edit them, and the record them back into the MPC, but it's not quite like just transferring a midi file back and forth between the two devices.
