Mpc 2000xl / mpc x

I want to use my mpc x and my xl at the same time. My goal is to use my X for its plugins and xl for drums. I plant to track out through my tascam model 16 into studio one 7 pro. How should I route everything so that it all works together. My reason is I don't own any keyboards so im basically using my X as my keyboard.

mixer into computer via usb.
midi interface into computer via usb.

audio and midi use separate routes into computer.
