Dear MPC Friends,

###DISCLAIMER: to all those who waste everybody's time with RTFM replies and the likes, no one is impressed. Please be helpful, for a change. ###

I have recently sampled an old piano from a local pub, note by note, even at various velocity levels. I have tried to create my own virtual instrument on my brand new MPC One +, either directly onto it or via the MPC software (I'm still at version 2)... but eventually gave up. I tried keygroups, the expansion builder, etc. Maybe I'm missing a step or two in the workflow.

Would there be a pinned thread in this forum with clear instructions on how to assign each and every note of a virtual keyboard on the MPC to a unique file from the library of sounds I recorded in the said local pub? I am hoping to build a full-fledged 88 keys piano from this carefully recorded and labelled library.

Any pointing at the right guide or instruction video or whatever would be beyond helpful.

Thanks a ton everyone,
el domo
