Hi,
the main reason why I downgraded to 2.15 after updating to one of the first releases of 3.x firmware is because it was not possible to change drum programs within the same track.
I know this is a decision that caused complains by quite a few users (at least this is what I was told when I spoke to the Akai demonstrator at Superbooth this year).
Would like to know if this feature was recovered on most recent firmwares, if yes I'm ready to buy the "3".
thank you!

This is site isn't connected to Akai & even people that would know that most likely wouldn't be in position to legally tell you stuff like that.

In short, we don't know.

They would have to add a program pool & use PC like they did on the JJOS to give each program a PC# & be to added to different seqs so it switches to them when you play that seq.

Yep, I'm not the biggest fan of the new way to do things in OS 3.X.

What I would do before is make a single Drum Program then reference it with other tracks.

In OS 3.X I can indeed route midi tracks to that Drum Program, but it falls apart as soon as I want to edit the Drum Program, I need to switch to the original track, then go back to the midi track to record anything... this isn't ideal at all and it makes the workflow way slower.
