As an owner of the MemoryMoog, - will be interesting what they do with that. 3 Osc Poly Synth's are always fun :) - though in case you guys don't know we ALREADY have a 3 OSC Poly synth plugin for the Standalone, it's called the Mini D

So who has the Mini IV keyboard? Can you download those now? After you activate them do they show up in the Standalone activation list? Or are these bottom 4 going to be just VSTi's?

Has anyone bought the Mini IV and confirmed about that? I searched the internet for Vintage Jup, Vintage Pro and Vintage Memory Moog and I'm not seeing anything around it. Not reviews , no mentions of it. Is it available? Anyone have any screen shots?

lol, not worth my time to dig through it anymore
but here's fun fact - you head over here:
https://api.inmusicbrands.com/v1/product_public_keys
apply some regular expressions to it (python for example) - r'"sku":"([A-Za-z0-9]+)"},'
and you will get 305 sku codes for every single plugin inMusic have up in their sleeves
as for the radios, we don't have gmrs, it's america's specific service and therefore illegal here afaik :hmmm: I think we have something called PMR but never looked into it, regular ham radios are far more popular in europe.

I bought the 2600 plugin but was disappointed to find out it only works on the computer, not in stand-alone mode. It wasn't obvious to me when I shelled out the money. Bummed. I have the MPC Key 61 which I love, but really only use it in stand-alone mode. I'd happily deregister the 2600 and get something else instead - but I doubt that's on offer.

If we are getting another vintage analogue, I'd like something than can get nasty when we want, like the Odyssey. I like the Juno addition, but it's a polite synth. They added a pre filter drive, but it's way to to polite, to the point I leave it as max by default (I really like this addition on the Bass Station2 and its noticeable on all sounds), and the analogue feel function is too subtle too.

When I saw they added an SH101, I was kind of indifferent, it'[s a good synth, I know the chips used are different than the Juno, but the controls pretty much make is a mono phonic Juno, with a different sound due to the chips. Why they didn't added a tasty prefilter drive to this I don't know. and something else to the oscillator stage (like a wave folder) just to add another dimension and capability, than just a straight up copy. I will grab this when the price is right, but I am not excited enough to make the a must buy

So this get's me to my point, I would lie a Jupiter synth, next. Great poly, can be a great mono too, has a cross mod, so can get nice and harmonic when you want. The Jupiter's had many of the same chips as the Prophet, but with more functionality. Alex ball does a comparison, where he turns off a bunch of Jupiter 8 functions and compares the sound to a Prophet, and they same the same. So you get a Prophet in Jupiter, so that more happy people.

Paul Hartnell of Orbital has the Jupiter 8 and 6, but prefers the 6, so much so, he bought a second Jupiter 6 to tour with. But he still tours with the first Jupiter 6 because it sound better to his ears. There is also a Jupiter 4. So it would be great if they made a Jupiter synth for the MPC, that had 3 modes, to switch the sound (not functions) to emulate all 3 synths, but with the a higher poly voicing for all options.

Some showed a pic of some of the new plugins for the Akai Mini or whatever & they the Prophet as coming soon & another Moog (I don't remember which model), so hopefully they come as standalone plugs. The Jupiter would be nice, but we already have 2 from Roland, let's get some new old stuff like the MS20 or even let us add more sample to Mellotron. I was watching some doc & they showing like these custom samples people were adding to it back in day, I would love to add my own or buy a upgrade from Akai.

If that's a soft emulation, I hope they get a little creative with it. I'm still guessing that's a sample based one, which I've zero interest in. I don't get sample based instruments based on synths, it kind of misses the point, but sample based real world instruments makes better sense.

I all ready have a prophet 6 so I’m not really too excited about that, the real one will sound miles better no matter what they do.. I thought I heard they were working on a plug in that has a bunch of different old modular synths sample libraries?
Oh I think that is NI, they are making it but it will be in the play series, so I hope that is coming to the MPC. I guys other then that the Jupiter… I’m much more interested in rate mono synths though like buchla and Synthi. If they could license a software serge from rs, that would be insane! I don’t see much of a point in big analog poly synths because they never sound as close to the real thing. You never get the same feeling of hugeness.
