Maybe dumb question, but... say you're deep in the previous 3.5 course (I'm on page 766) or have already completed the entire course... is there a way to just see/do only the brand new updated parts of the newly revised course?

Obviously, I don't wanna sift/hunt through the entire updated course trying to find only the newly updated parts.

This revision involved updates to most pages within the course, be it new images or small text changes, minor tweaks, or entirely new tutorials. The release notes at the back of the book tell you which chapters have received new tutorials specifically for MPC3.6, e.g. A02, C06, C08 and D02 covering stuff like crossfading, articulations, time signatures etc.

An easier way than to carry the MPC near an Ethernet jack is to use a phone with WLAN USB tethering:

Connect the phone (with WLAN turned on) to the MPC with a USB cable and enable USB tethering on the phone.

Works usually fine for me. Only once I had to go to the MPC prefernces to enable Ethernet.

I purchased MPC Bible 3 (mpc-bible-3_rev2a.zip) and downloaded it on 08/21/2025.
It does not appear on my “Your Filebank” page, so i can't download the 3.6 update. :hmmm:
Could you correct this ?
In anticipation, thanks. :worthy:

Hi, I responded to the email you sent a few days ago, it looks like you have two accounts with MPC Samples and you purchased the MPC Bible using the account attached to your gmail address - you can simply log into that account to retrieve your download ink, or just re-download from the email link I originally sent to that gmail address. If you no longer have access to the gmail address let me know and I'll update the email for you.

Very nice! I've used the older version a lot, look forward to jumping in to the new version. I presume info about the new Clips and Clip Matrix workflow will be coming soon - I just started experimenting with it tonight, and it's a lot of fun. although a bit mysterious how it all works yet.

Clips is one of the best things Akai put on the their OS. It's why I picked the Force over the X back in 2021. Clips allows us to compose faster & more creatively. Now I just delete a clip instead of muting it on the seq/row.

Seeing 8 rows (which is like 8 Sequences), 8 tracks & 8 clips all at once lets us know what's coming up sound wise vs just changing 1 whole seq. Also, Freestyle jamming with clips is a lot better on the matrix.

These videos on this post are great to learn more about clips & MPC song building:

This good overall video:

MPC4 doesn't exist, and is unlikely to appear for many years yet. After 3.9 likely comes 3.10 (three point 10). This is what happened with MPC2.9 (2.10, 2.11, 2.12 etc). I don't work for Akai so I don't know their future plans, but either way, I'm happy to commit to keeping MPC Bible 3 compatible with MPC 3.x for the years to come.

If MPC4 were to ever appear, it will likely be another year long, flakey public alpha/beta before actual proper release, so we'll have plenty of time to look at MPC Bible 4 then :)

Is the current Bible up to date with 3.9?
