Don't take "Bad Gear" to serious, it is mostly entertainment and i think some featured gear is filling G.A.S. . For me it is entertaining and a lot of the jam tracks are amazing.

Yes I agree, but every minute wasted on watching youtubers can be spend at actually making music on mpc

This was actually a very positive and fair review by him; he thinks the MPC LIVE III is aesthetically displeasing, and that was my initial thought when I saw it, but now it's in my home studio, and I now see and hear its beauty.

most people initially disliked the look due to how busy it looks with the 16 step buttons on the top row.
but cos all the buttons improve functionality; and the look grows on u, its pretty much all positive with this first next gen MPC.
but I do wonder how the next gen MPC one will incorporate the new 4 quadrant pads, cos the smaller pad size of the One will make the quadrants a bit fiddly.

I think most Force users knew those "ugly" buttons was gonna be hell fire, but MPC-heads will do be who they are, but that pic quality was disgusting
I'm interested about the pads for the gen2 X myself. The other day I thinking that the 64 pads can kinda be used like the L3 pads like you can dedicated 4 pads to be linked to together as 1. Each 1 can have their separate drum articulation, but have all the other stuff single would have like their own 8 layers, filters, FXs, pad mutes...
Anyway, maybe the new X/Force will have pads like the Force but more connected, or more precisely, 16 bigger pads than the L3...
Women would really appreciate how much men on these site think about the quality of pads

The step sequencing buttons make total sense. About time. Makes the Toraiz SP-16 almost redundant except for its faster and cleaner workflow. The billions of shift functions written tho is fugly. Those 4 quadrant pads, I don't know what they are trying to achieve with that. The Gen2 has features which one day might need a seperate forum.

Really tho.. the new mpc is still whack compared to the akai force. I don't want to buy one, use it, learn its new work flow and issues or even communicate with people who use them. that's gotta account for a little considering how hard i hit the mpc last go around. Now i am happy to just go back to a daw. use my og mpc one as a device to pound sounds in with.
