No I haven't found the cure for it yet and now when I play the keys it just randomly starts changing the octaves on me during mid play.

I'm using the light suitcase chorus on the stage EP plug in, and as I'm playing it just starts shifting through the octaves and I don't have anything on automation I haven't messed with any settings and my pitch wheel and modulation wheel are in the default positions. It's really frustrating because I love this synthesizer workstation and I've made some really good songs on it. I don't want to give up but it is getting on my damn nerves LOL

It doesn't seem to be doing it on the pads,
Just the keys. You might be right about it having something to do with the aftertouch I'll have to find out to see if I can disable it.

Tell me the steps to possibly recreate it, I’ll try on my Key61

Might be unrelated, but i've had a couple of simliar issues. First one was when I had some other MPC/Akai network device activated - had some very strange double-note/hang type issues. disabling wifi on the mpc would be a good first diagnostic for this.

Second issue I found with MPC live III running 3.6 (as shipped and latest at time) strange hanging notes when operated from some (but not all) external DIN connected midi keyboards (does it with an ancient m-audio key station 49e and also with Roland Fantom ex). connecting them via usb midi seems ok though.
