I recently got an MPC One Plus, running 3.5. After I record a sequence and hit play I don't hear anything. The sequence is playing because I see the counter moving along. When I hit the pads to play sample I can hear the samples just fine, but I hear nothing when playing a recorded sequence. Nothing is muted. I've done "reset preferences" several times, but that doesn't help. Any advice, thanks in advance

I don't have the answer, but I've just started again with a new project MPC One with 3.6 and Plus Pack.

Clip array mode.

I recorded to a drum track from MIDI in using my Beatstep Pro. The MIDI notes are in the arrangement. I press "Play". The progress bar is moving through the MIDI notes in the arrangement but I hear nothing. Meanwhile the pads on the Beatstep continue to trigger samples so long as "Rec Arm" is on.

You didn't record anything, probably because you didn't ARM the track for RECORDING. I suggest you go back to the basics and go watch some AKAI pro videos on Youtube, otherwise you won't gonna go far. Or buy the brand new MPC Bible from MPC Tutor, a reference in MPC learning.

I created a new track with the same drum plugin as before, recorded from the Beatstep, works fine. No idea why the first one didn't work.

Probably because you didn't "Arm" the first track. Or you accidentally took it off. I believe they are armed by default upon creation.
