Hello,

This would be more appropriate on the live set up board but I don't think there is much traffic there.

I am using my MPC Live 2 at a jam nights in my local jam bar. I'm trying out different set ups with monitoring as I was struggling to hear the MPC over all the guitars and vocals. Obviously I could try and get them to turn down or get my own in ear monitors but is that necessary if the Live 2 comes with monitor speakers built in?

The only problem with that is that, as far as I can tell, as soon as I run the MPC stereo outs to the PA system then the monitors are automatically switched off. Is there a way around this?

With a stereo out and monitors running at the same time you might need different levels. I imagine Akai wanted didn't want you getting confused what the master volume knob controlled so just cuts out the monitors.

Hope that's clear, any help is much appreciated!
