I’m requesting assistance in troubleshooting an issue I’m experiencing with my MPC One + hardware. Over time, I’ve noticed errors and issues arising. I’ll provide more details shortly.

When using the MPC One + hardware in either controller mode or standalone mode, certain buttons trigger multiple sounds. These buttons include TAP TEMPO, NET SEQ, BANKS A, B, C, D, SHIFT, 16 LEVELS, PLAY, and NOTE REPEAT. I’ve attempted resetting the hardware, but I haven’t been successful.

Please note that I’m using the following software:
- macOS Sequoia 15.7.3
- MPC 2
- MPC 3 Better Desktop

Thanks for pointing these issues out, the community would def appreciate it, they should be directed to Akai’s attention.

I believe I figured out the issues. It’s all due to MIDI 5 Pin and USB MIDI. There are multiple midi options I’m given either from Logic Pro or MPC One +. I turned off certain everything related to MIDI.

This is what I see on my end:
Logic Pro Virtual In - On
MPC One + Port 1
MPC One + Port 2
MPC One + Port 3 - On
Akai Network - DAW Control
Akai Network - MIDI
Now, that I found the answer to my questions. I need to figure out how to use the MPC 2 as a plugin in Logic, and record the midi information inside the MPC plugin.

Logic Pro = Master
MPC One + = Slave
