I play live with a Nord Stage 4. The keyboard is great, but I don't have enough options for synth sounds:
* No velocity layers for my own multisamples
* Only 3-part multitimbral
* This quickly limits the sound combinations
So I want to:
Automatically multisample my favorite plugins (AU/VST) on the Mac (Arturia, Cherry Audio, Korg, etc.) → (with velocity layers) → and use them in an external sampler, e.g., the MPC, in order to:
* play more than 3 layers/instruments simultaneously
* make quick sound changes without audible interruptions
* use a setlist/program list (switchable via Nord or iPad)
* perform live without a notebook
* the device should have enough memory
So I'm looking for a solution that allows the MPC to function like a ROMPLER – not for sampling loops or drums, but as a multitimbral, sample-based synth.
All videos and information i saw are based on „I can record my montage“ into the MPC, see how my single drum sounds work etc. but no simple romper for multitimbral synthesizer functions as described above.
And sorry, I tried to read the mpc bible , saw reddit posts and questions but none of those infos lead into this simple questions/answers
