What form factor has been best for you? Live vs. other

I thought the pads would be crap after using the 2500 for 2008 & the 1k since 2005, but I now like the pads more the those. Lack of controls LOL. The Force has a button or a button-combo for almost everything. Have you looked closely a Force? - this 1 is easy look up yourself. The lack of tilt screen is only really an issue if your using it flat on a table. Be humane & get you stand & they have a tilt-screen-mod you can do:



The Force are going for cheap on the used market, but as more MPC users wise-up, that may change.
Also you can upgrade the RAM to 4GB:

I've had the Live MK1, the One and eventually the X SE which I still have. I didn't like the lack of buttons on the Live, plus the pads left of the screen instead of right underneath it is what I really disliked. The One felt a bit better in that regard, but workflow wise I couldn't get used to it. And unless you put the One on a stand the tilt screen is definitely something I missed. I almost gave up on the new gen MPC's when Lampdog advised me to try an X with the 16 Q-links. Together with the tilt screen and all the dedicated buttons and its' lush size it's the perfect workhorse for larger projects for me.
