Hi!
So I bought this MPC one+ for my husband for a Christmas present. I saw this guy using it online and I thought I could use it getting sounds with no speaker or headphones attached. I can’t get any sound?!

Someone please talk to me like I know nothing, I know nothing! I really want to understand a little before he gets it and if I need to get cheap speakers before Christmas!

I have watched some YouTube videos but they all connect it to something and I don’t have anything !

Thanks all :worthy:

Only the MPC Live 2 and MPC Live 3 have built in speakers. With the MPC One+ you'll need to use wired headphones or connect it to speakers. I would recommend starting with headphones and see how he goes from there, he'll probably want to choose his own speakers/monitoring system further down the line.

Headphones should be wired (bluetooth not compatible), don't go really cheap, get him some budget studio cans with reasonable 'neutral' sound quality designed for monitoring with 'closed back' design (sound isolation), such as Audio technica m30x. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Audio-Technica ... That said, if there's no money left, any cheap wired ear buds will of course work, but the sound will likely be poor and almost certainly heavily boosted in the bass frequencies.

Welcome, yep, I use Audio Technica M50's (ATH-M50) for several years now and never a problem, good studio headphones.
