What I learned in 20+ years of MPCing and why I moved away

i came the other way around, started with reason 2 (upgraded till reason 12) , added hardware synths, maschine 2, arturia v collection, ni komplete. trown an absurd amount of money into virtual shit.

at last, i got stuck in descision hell every time i fire up the computer and lost the fun.

i own the the mpc one plus now, a cheap stand, a cheap ssd from amazon and i´m cooking almost every day again.
but i´m not a professional. want to stay enthusiast intentionally.

Still haven't really used my MPC Live much in the last 6 months. I do think it has some value but it's definitely not the centerpiece of any studio that I'd record in.

Still... the itch was too great -- I ended up copping a really clean MPC 2500. Reverting it back to MPC Os from JJOS for now, since I never really cared much for the JJOS. I might add it later, if the stock OS doesn't fit my needs. But I'm mostly using the MPC these days for drum programming and midi sequencing, and then occasionally chopping my own samples recorded in my house and flipping them. Not much of an unauthorized sample chopper these days
