Just got the MPC60ii with upgraded 3.15 OS. Before the new OS, it was pretty straightforward to save to a single floppy and then each song was it's own floppy. Now with the SCSI (sd card) and updated OS, I'm having trouble wrapping my head around the saving process. I know there are banks A-D that you can scroll through for your samples, but I'm confused about Program and the manual says that there are 8 programs (which i'm still kind of confused about that and the 64 banks/pads of samples I can use on bank A-D). So lets say every day I want to make a new beat with fresh new sounds and a new sequence. How would I go about saving each beat at the end of the day before I power off? Would I save Program 1 and all the sequences I made that day to SCSI A, then the next day when I make new samples and a new sequences, save Program 2 and the new sequences to SCSI B, or would I save Program 1 and new sequences to SCSI B? If i'm only making sounds and sequences on one bank of 16, is there a way to save day 1 of bank A to SCSI A, day 2 of bank B to SCSI A, day 3 of bank C to SCSIS A, and day 4 of bank D to SCSI A along with their sequences or would the workflow be each day of program 1 with the sequences are its own SCSI Letter, so day 1 would be SCSI A, day 2 would be saving program 1 and sequences to SCSI B and so on? Just a little confused and lost in the saving portion to the SD SCSI drive I have so any help and tips would be greatly appreciated before I really dive in.
