Live 3 and Minifreak crashing

Hello, I am ultimately trying to take samples that are on the MPC and mutilate them using the Minifreak. And then I'd like to sample that mutilation and make lots of drum programs.
So my research seemingly got all my settings correct...So I thought. It seemed to be working and then it crashed. Now both machines are crashing soon after rebooting.
I'm curious how to best get help with settings for both the mpc and minifreak. I was using Ai and once again it had me fooled into thinking it knew something.

Ground fault, or back feeding power. when using the microfreak and iirc the minifreak you dont need the wall wart. Only plug in the usb cable. The only time you need the wall wart is when you are *not* using usb.
