Wavetable Creator by Ocean Swift Synthesis is now offered for free. On the compatibility list the have put - to my suprise - the MPC Key 61.

Is it really possible to play custom wavetables on the Key 61?

"Wavetable" is an ambiguous term. It sometimes refers to static collections of waves; this usage comes from the age of ROMplers. Today, the term usually refers to dynamic wavetable instruments, like the PPG Wave, Hydrasynth, etc.

Thr MPCs cannot do dynamic wavetable synthesis.

You can kinda fake it with the 8 sample layers & simultaneous pad play.

Of course the answer is NO as of 3.6, you cannot import wavetables into any MPC.
