Screen stand in back had the snap-in on OG X = no rattling when pad banging.
Screen stand in back of XL, no snap-in stability, this equals rattling when the stand is used in the lil slots. If not used in the slots, no rattling.

Yes, Marco Polo hooked it up his part in this nicely!

No download, pro-packs standard, in there, same as tubesynth was back in the day. Just look through the efx plug-ins, you’ll see some stuff.

Yeah, it's been consistently, $99 throughout, I think the price switched to $199 pretty much the same time the XL was released. Maybe to make the price of the XL more appealing. It will go back at some point. I wish it was sold through Air Music Tech and resellers though, not just Akai Pro.

They've made a bit of a mess with Midi Learn, it seems to be working fine, just messy. I'm not investing in anything that needs 3.6 until I happy it's working. I have 2 Launch Controls, just for use with the MPC, so I'll jump back to 2.5 if midi learn starts misbehaving.

have not heard much of interest from NAMM, that show is mostly a dissapointment 9/10 times

it was much better in the early 2010s; I think tha beat thang era was the last time NAMM was interesting,

but for the most part its a bunch guitars and guitar pedals.

Have you seen the new Chandler mixing desk ? That’s hype. I think the new TG2 will use the germanium circuit from these channels which is great for cats like us who like to track drums. The console is there, it for us poors we can at least get the modules.

Rodec side stepper ?

In 3 months time we will probably get a refresh of the 61 keys mpc keyboard. So yes it is a bit of a drip state.

Korg finally released the Phase8 acoustic synth, Ive been watching the development of that for years, got to play one at Superbooth last year but was a little underwhelmed. However it seems a lot more polished now. Obviously super niche, limited product, but always loved the idea in theory

Morning Lamp. How far can I tilt the kick stand before it rattles ? I bang the pads like Arab Musick when I practice at the faster BPMs
