I was right about a lot of things, but it may take awhile get people realized it. I was also right about most MPC users liking clips & that without it the arranger half-ass.

Anyway, I'm glad you like the knobs & had the honesty to admit you was wrong & even repeating it!

You should've stop while you were ahead.. I have no use for clips at all.. the arranger is cool but I can arrange in Cubase faster and really finish a track..

It works the same way with all track types. To have all pads respond the same way, you need to set up the pad selection to "all" when you are assigning parameters. Navigate to the plug in parameter you want to control. Same for keygroup parameters. When you are on an empty drum track while not in pad perform mode, pads will be chromatic. You may not initially hear any notes on bank A because it is playing the lowest octave. To use chords or scales, you have to turn on pad perform mode while on the drum track. Then chords and chord arps work with the x/y expression.[/quote]

Am I doing something wrong? My keygroups and plugins under qlink edit MPCe pads do not allow me to change, add, or do anything like how they do on the drum tracks. And my drum tracks don't allow me to pad perform arps or chords without using a keygroup or plugin sending to it, which then doesn't allow me make the mpce pad changes Is there some workaround that needs to be done here also?

Are you updated to 3.7? And are you on the drum track when trying to set the pads? You must be on the drum track. If you are on any other track type you cant set or use MPCe pads. When you are on a drum track go to pad perform mode to activate. It is off by default on drum tracks. Just like the midi tracks, you are sending the drum track data to the plug in track. Then you must use the drum track for performance of said plug in or keygroup.

I am on 3.7. So that's what I expected that I could only set MPCe with the drum track, but now I don't have any way to turn on pad perform for said drum track. Is it hidden somewhere?

Mini D and Jura are both definitely worth the $ IMO.

They are worth buying, but I don't think they are worth the list price. They both go on sale regularly.

Also do you happen to know if there is a known issue when sending drum tracks to Midi tracks, MPCe pads x and y axis midi cc info? I got it to work when playing live but when I try to record the automation it won't record even though I arm the automation track. When I do the same with CV track it works fine and records the automation.
