Audio Export Settings

hey,

for those of you exporting audiomixdowns from the mpc: which settings do you use? format, bitdepth, samplerate?

Depends on what I'm exporting for.

MP3's for Project Previews or Emailing Tracks

44.1khz, 16bit WAVs for Projects, Submissions, Clients,...etc

.wav 16 bit 44.1 kHz

cause its lossless and the most versatile / compatible

after export I normalize to - 14 dB lufs in an audio editor
but my mixing routine is so that this often hardly changes the file

I keep both files

I've set audio tail to 1 second but thats not reliable, one of those unfixed bugs in 2.x

If I import the files into my DAW I go with 32FP WAV at 44.1kHz.

I guess that if my tracks don't go into red I don't need FP, but why take a chance with 16bit.

Same except 24 bit WAV to clients
