All MIDI input coming into the MPC as Velocity 0% (no sound) on the MIDI ports, but comes in totally fine when that same signal is coming in on USB. Checked everything several times over.

Akai said they were aware "of certain issues" regarding MIDI.

Saw one other person post about it a while ago. Am I fukking going crazy here? That's a huge problem.

That's because y'all are using 2 different device models. His issue is with the Live III, not the One.

I ordered a Live III that should arrive tomorrow, Instrumental. I will check to see if I have the same issue.

So I don't know if this is related, but I send midi from my DAW to the MPC, clock and channel info. If I don't deselect 'Zero controllers when midi stops', then it can cause all my midi to mute in the MPC, even though mutes are off.

Could something be sending 'Zero all controllers' to the MPC?

No idea. I tried with USB -- no issues. I'm going to try with the MIDI pin again. I "think" I know what the issue is. I'll be back later to report my findings.

EDIT: I got it (5-pin din) to work on my end. My blind-a55 had the audio cables connected to the wrong ports :smh:

Speaking of being blind, I'm well overdue for another eye exam

Yeah I know, I was asking about midi via usb, because I can make it work via the midi din connectors and it used to work in my LIVE 2, but on Live 3 + Windows (via usb-c) it hasnt been reliable midi via usb or even network. I know is unrelated to this question but since BackOnDaMPC was testing via usb...
