Hi ,
i wanted to know if any one has used their daw as a sequencer and sent separate midi tracks / channels to the MPC midi in over USB?
or other software from the computer sending midi via USB
I have done this before with a midi din cable via a midi interface ,
I set an MPC track to a specific midi channel on one of the ports and then done the same again to another MPC track or drum program etc .
im confused if that can be achieved with just a usb cable ?
i know if i connect a midi controller via USB or USB midi keyboard direct to the MPC i get midi in , but wasn't sure if its possible -- to use the mini in ports directly from the computer using just a - usc - USB 2.0 A-to-A cable??????
the ubs in / out become out in mac midi when the mpc is in contoller mode via usb - but thats different .
i have the mpcX se
