Is there a way to add Grid View Notes to the step sequencer?

I just found out that when you add notes to the Grid View, there is no corresponding notes in the step sequencer, but the step sequencer notes do have a corresponding note in the Grid View. Is there any way (other than manually) send notes created in the Grid View to the step sequencer?

Disregard - it looks like notes entered in grid view do translate to step sequencer. For some reason, the first time I tried it didn't work.

Just for clarity >> Step sequencer lets you view one grid line (pad) at a time, this is for more detailed editing of drum hits, for example. In the Step Sequencer view, you can see which key/pad is currently being edited.

The double greater-than >> in my responses is the same as putting the entire response into quotes or inside a quote block, not to be taken literally. : )
