If you are on 2.15, if you change the question to 'Will we ever see any improvements on 2.5' the answer is no, it's done finished.
If we change the question to 'Will we ever see a bug free version of 3', I'd go with no, too. As they iron out the new OS they'll introduce new function, introducing new bugs. But eventually it will get to the point where they accept the level of minor bugs and decide the cost to fix them isn't worth the time. For example, there is a mapping error in the OPx4 in midi learn and modulation, FM Shaping is actually FM Filtering and vice versa. I've reported it, but I really think for every MPC user there is that uses the OPx4 the only person trying to use this mapping is me.
The thing that made me jump for 2.5 to 3.6 was hearing the Midi Note off bug was fixed. How that was not fixed earlier I don't know.
