max/msp and mpc2k help...trying to trigger mpc clock...

I need to sync max/msp (cpu) up with my mpc2k. In order to do this i need the midi cc#, or a midi msg that the mpc2k reads as song start(possibly MMC code) thankfully the manual is such utter crap that I can't find the needed info there . anyone know? im pulling out my hair....

i did it a few years ago but can only remember "110" through all this haze....
