Hi There,
I want to learn how to use an MPC, a friend has a Renaissance he has offered to lend me, I'm just wondering if I will be able to get it up and running on a current MacBook Pro running Tahoe OS?
Will a need a USB to USB-C cable?
WIll I be able to download the right legacy software from inMusic?
What else will I need to get started?
Can I just use it stand alone without connecting to a Mac?
I'm only want to sample records and mess about with samples making beats, not utilise other sources of music.
I'd prefer to use this loan MPC for a while before buying one, but if the age of it is going to be a real pain I'd rather know now than spend a few dispiriting weeks getting nowhere
