Hey gang,
I used to use a 2kxl pretty extensively for beatmaking and that workflow is sort of muscle memory. I used to use an app to make pprograms then put everything on the mpc and make my beats

question does the mpc one have any app like that? or do you just have to use the akai official app? I am thinking about getting an mpc one as it seems to be more easy to integrate to my updated studio. Or should I bite the bullet and just grab a 2kxl when I can?

I'd choose MPC One+ over 2kxl (I had a 2kxlse2). That's just me tho. You can build kits in MPC software. On MPC One you can load a folder of wav's to ram. Re-order them on screen in MPC One (drag and drop from ram to pad).

Choose whatever MPC you think fits you.

What Lamp said. Get a modern mpc where you can build your kits with the software. It’s much better and easier than the 2xl
