Ive known the dude for awhile even rocked some shows with him so I trust him

As soon as I read about it being able to import audio files, I want it.

I think Akai is Targeting Entry Level NON MPC users. Rope em in with A Low-End Sampler. Have them step up to become Future MPC LIVE or XL users over time.

Hook Line & Sinker lol

I would agree if it didn't have usb c connection and the mpk mini released with its entry level software similar to komplete .. it will be a stripped down MPC. I'll get it for thr plane ride :-D :-D

If it can export projects to the bigger MPCs, I'm in.

I was, in fact, considering the KO ii, or even a second hand MPC 500 to have a portable sketchpad for beats, so this would be far better.

Yeah I think I’m going to pick it up. Been waiting on an updated/improved studio but I think this could do the trick especially if file transfer via computer is pretty easy and it’s truly the classic workflow

I think it’s more an answer to the mini boutique lofi sampler market. Also for all us old farts who dont like 3.x and don’t need clips or quadrants! Lol

But maybe I’m projecting a bit

How you explain it, seems plausible.

$399.99 is the price and the specs will match the price cant expect more.. but definitely will be worth the purchase if you can import to live or X.

I hope they released new plugins also..
