MIDI clip program change help?

Hi team,
I'm a relatively new Akai Force user and I'm trying to set things up so that I can change patterns on my Digitakt II over MIDI when I change MIDI clips.

I have a MIDI track set up to control the Digitakt. I can change patterns on the Digitakt II at the track level by going to track settings, checking the "program change" box and changing the program number.

So far, so good. This tells me that my MIDI cable works fine, the MIDI channels are set to be the same, etc.

The problem is that I cannot get program changes to work at the clip level. I have one clip set to program 0 and another clip set to program 1. (these represent patterns A01 and A02 on the Digitakt respectively).
I've tried changing every setting I can think of and nothing is working.

The only clip level thing that DOES seem to work:

- I can have the track level program change box selected (not ultimately what I want to do but I'm just troubleshooting right now), have a different program number programmed into the first clip, and then hit play. At first the track will play back the initial pattern selected at the track level, and then after one cycle of the pattern on the digitakt it will change to the different pattern indicated by the clip. But this only works once, and subsequently changing clips does not update the Digitakt pattern.

I have poured a full day into this, have read the manual, watched youtube tutorials, and nothing I'm doing seems to work. It's insanely frustrating. Anyone here have any experience with this setup?

What OS are you on?
Have you tried inserting the PC# into the clip seq data via the List Editor?

I noticed what I think to be the same problem. I wanted to use different clips on the Akai Force to trigger different patterns on my Octatrack (or change to any preset on my Korg Opsix).

I noticed that the first clip being set up to send a program change to the Octatrack will actually send it, if the Akai Force was stopped before I launched that clip. But as soon as the Force is playing, changing to another clip on the same track with another program change command won't switch the program on the OT any more. (It will though, if I stop the Force, and play this other clip after that).

(the exact same think happens with the Korg Opsix
also, I use the latest 3.70 firmware)

Any idea why I get this behaviour? Might be that I set up something in a bad way, but if I didn't this just looks like a bug..

Replying to commiserate and also to follow the thread in case someone has a solution.
To recap - I can change program and bank manually from the track settings and it will change when I launch the MPC but the per-clip settings only work when I first hit play and not when I change the clip thereafter.

I'm told it's listed as a bug on the beta forum. Fingers crossed.
